miHi started making rose hairclips in partnership with the Atluya Home in Delhi. The Atulya Home was started in 2005 to look after women who have been trafficked and from other abusive situations. The business was started to give women in the home, and nearby slum area, an employment opportunity in a safe and caring environment which not only helped the women individually but also helped sustain the Atulya Home in Delhi.

The rose hairclips are handmade, beautiful, colourful, original and were initially made from something that had been used and discarded. They not only make fantastic gifts for children and adults, they also are a means of supporting a wonderful project. More significantly however they are in themselves a prophetic illustration of the hope and life that can come out of the darkest of circumstances such as the abuse endured through sex trafficking.
The roses represent each of the women’s lives that have the hope of being transformed.
